Medication Technician

This is a blended course online and in-person hands-on skill class, meeting the 6 hour requirement.


8 Hour Medication Technician Training Initial Course for 
Trained Unlicensed Staff Assistance with Self-Administration of Medications Florida Board of Nursing approved program.

The above individual has met the requirements specified in Section 429.256, F.S. and 
Rule 59A-36.008, F.A.C for 8 hours of continuing education for the State of Florida.

 This 8-hour hands-on Medication Technician training meets the Florida Department of Elder Affairs guidelines for those assisting with medication in Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs).

 

Our in-person,  training ensures participants gain the practical skills needed to safely administer and assist with medications.”

Course Progression
This is a Blended Online and In-Person Course. 

Part 1. Complete the Online course 

Part 2. Complete the In-Person hands-on skills session 

Part 3. Received Medication Technician Certification within 24 hours of course

Part 4. We will upload your 8 CEU's to CE Broker
