Service Description

Nurse Resource Training Center LLC is an official American Heart Association Training Site in the disciplines of BLS, ACLS, and PALS. We are currently accepting new instructors in all disciplines. Sign up today to become an American Heart Association BLS CPR Instructor! Already an instructor? Contact us to align with our Training Site! ----- The American Heart Association CPR Instructor Course prepares participants to independently teach all Basic Life Support (BLS)–level certification classes. This includes BLS for Healthcare Providers, Heartsaver CPR/AED, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, Pediatric First Aid CPR AED, and Friends & Family CPR courses. In addition to completing the required steps outlined below, all participants must hold a current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification card. Upon successful completion of all requirements, participants will earn their BLS Instructor designation through the American Heart Association and be qualified to teach courses independently. Steps listed below: 1. Simple Phone Interview Send us a email at support@nurseresourcetrainingcenter.com and request your interest in becoming an instructor. We will have a quick phone interview! We can learn more about your goals, discuss the instructor course, and ensure you completed your pre-requisites. 2. Instructor Course This one-day experience helps prepare you to succeed as an American Heart Association CPR instructor. This is a 8 hour course. Snacks are provided. This intensive course familiarizes instructor candidates with: 1. AHA course organization 2. AHA and Training Center policies 3. Program Administration Manual 4. Card processing 5. Course administration 6. Quality Assurance 7. Classroom Engagement 8. Advertising 9. Equipment cleaning 10. 2025 AHA CPR & ECC Science Updates 11. Skills testing 12. Written test 13. Teach back 3. New Instructor Monitoring One of our Training Center Faculty monitors the new instructor deliver their very first class. This helps ensure the quality assurance initiatives of the AHA while bolstering the confidence of our new instructors. This can be done during one of Nurse Resource Training Center's many open enrollment courses at our facility, or the new instructor can be monitored wherever their first class may be. This instructor monitor must be done within 6 months after completion of Part 2.

Cancellation Policy

We have a NO REFUND POLICY Rescheduling -We understand that emergencies do come up. You may reschedule your course by contacting us at least five (5) days before the class. -The student can reschedule and attend another Healthcare course by scheduling with the Program Administrator. Both the student and Program Administrator must agree on the rescheduled date. -You may reschedule your course by contacting us at least five (5) business days prior to your scheduled course date. You will be charged a rescheduling fee of $25.00. You may call 850-792-6619 or email Careers@nurseresourcetrainingcenter.com -Courses must be rescheduled and attended within 60 days from the original registration date. No additional rescheduling requests will be honored.
