The American Heart Association CPR Instructor Course prepares participants to independently teach all Basic Life Support (BLS)–level certification classes. This includes BLS for Healthcare Providers, Heartsaver CPR/AED, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, Pediatric First Aid CPR AED, and Friends & Family CPR courses.
In addition to completing the required steps outlined below, all participants must hold a current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification card.
